Spices & Sauces - Satay Peanut Sauce
Recently my family got me a torch burner as a gift. I decided to surprise them with their favorite East Coast Style Satays. Curated the wholesome home cooked Kebab A la Southeast Asia. Why? I want the best for my family like a balanced meal with lots of vegetables, meat and whole grain carbohydrates. It is important to choose wholesome ingredients for home cooked food. Skills can be taught, and choices can be made. Cultivate our families to eat wholesome food.
I am delighted to introduce the Organic Satay Peanut sauce for this week’s aromatic chargrilled BBQ food. You can enjoy a delicious home cooked grilled food in the convenience of your home. My two teenagers found pleasure in torching the skewers right before serving it. It is fun to involve our children in house chores.
A family that eats and has fun together, stays together.

1 Yellow Capsicum
1/2 Pineapple
100gm White Button Mushrooms
1/2 Zucchini
1 Tsp Turmeric Powder
1 Tsp salt
500gm Boneless Chicken
Biona Organic Satay Peanut Simmer Sauce
Biona Organic Raw Virgin Coconut Oil
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Rinse and pat dry the Biona Organic Plain Tofu with paper towel. Seasoned with 1/2 the turmeric powder and salt. Leave it to marinate for few minutes.

3. Wash and cut all the vegetables to the sizes which matches the type of skewers.
4. Brush all the kebab with Biona Organic Satay Peanut Simmer Sauce and follow by coconut oil before cooking it. You can grill the kebab in the oven or pan or BBQ pit. I grilled mine in the oven for 20 minutes.
5. Take it out of oven, brush with the satay peanut sauce and coconut oil again. Then torch it before serving it to give the aromatic of authentic chargrilled smells and taste.
6. Serve it over Ginger Flower Quinoa & Rice with Satay Peanut Sauce.
Note: Personally I really like the texture of the Biona Organic tofu. It’s texture very similar to juicy chicken breast which made it very suitable for grilling.
