Natural honey whose majority composition comes from the nectar of the flowers os Madrono (Arbutus unedo), a species of shrub belonging to the Arbutus genus in the Ericaceae family. It is a bitter honey produced and collected in autumn/winter in the southwestern mountains of Asturias, in the natural park of the Fuentes del Narcea, Degana e Ibias. Colour : Amber to dark amber. Scent : Floral with a component of leaf litter, mushrooms and humus. Taste : Bitter dominance with salty notes.
