Le Querce Italian Tree of Heaven Honey, 200g
- S$16.90
This variety of unifloral honey is obtained from the flowering of the Ailanthus , an invasive plant native to the Moluccas (Indian Ocean). The name " tree of heaven " is due to the exceptional height that this plant can reach in a few years. Monofloral productions can be found throughout Italy. Every year, Ailanthus honey influences the characteristics of many summer multi-flower honeys, and can also alter those of honeys such as acacia (which immediately follows in terms of flowering) or lime (contemporaneous).
