Situated at the limit of the appellation Montagne, on the northern slopes of Saint-Emilion, Chateau Le Loup is generally recognised as one of the appellationís references. The unusual blend composed of 50% Merlot and 50% Cabernets offers a Medoc-type wine. This is a lovely open wine with a fleshy fruit, elegant tannins and good concentration. The fruit lingers well through the length.
